Súnmi is a woman of faith and wisdom, with a passion to see God’s Kingdom come and His will done. She is an intercessor by nature and a passionate believer in the transforming power of prayer.

A pastor’s wife and preacher of the Gospel, she serves the Church in multifaceted ways, pointing others toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, and her ministry is firmly rooted in a love for the Word of God and a commitment to sound biblical doctrine resulting in a tangible love for others.

With a heart devoted to worship, Súnmi carries a deep desire to see people encounter God’s presence and respond to Him with wholehearted devotion. Whether teaching from God's word or leading others into a greater understanding of His purposes, she consistently encourages believers to pursue a life of intimacy with Christ.

In addition to being a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Authority, with nearly two decades demonstrating sustained leadership, impact, and influence in higher education in the UK, Súnmi possesses a Master's degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and has over 15 years sector experience supporting women, victims of crime, as well as people struggling with substance abuse.

She is a mentor to women and one of her greatest joys is helping individuals discover their God-given identity and purpose through biblical teaching, encouragement, and discipleship. Her ministry is marked by authenticity, grace, and a genuine desire to see lives transformed by the truth of God’s Word.

Súnmi is married to Pastor Dèjì, Lead Minister at Pollards Hill Baptist Church in South London, and they have a son and daughter.
